T he location of the Lariño Lighthouse is privileged and undoubtedly strategic to discover the charms of the area, we are located in Carnota, between the spectacular village of Muros and the mystical Fisterra.

The Lariño Lighthouse belongs to the municipality of Carnota, a privileged and pampering place of Galicia, located in the western end of A Coruña that is in the limit of Costa da Morte. A few meters from Monte Pindo, granitic rocks that form an incomparable natural space from a geomorphological point of view, and the well-known waterfall of Ézaro, one of the few rivers in Europe that flows into the sea in the form of a waterfall.

The beach of Carnota, with its crescent shape and incomparable beauty, is an area of great beauty and environmental interest. After a huge sandy area, about 7 km long, a unique set of dunes and marshes, with an inner lagoon, hosts plant and animal communities of great interest as it serves as a refuge for many species in their migratory movements, highlighting the ornithological interest of the whole and the variety of existing ecosystems.

On the other side of the Lariño Lighthouse or also known as Punta Insua, we have the wide and lonely beach of Lariño, with fine white sand, perfect for nautical sports.
